O’Neill High School – Nebraska – World Outside My Shoes

Our day in O’Neill began with Brian and Sofie treating us to a yummy breakfast at the Blarneystone Restaurant. Sofie is a survivor of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. Was so fun being with them and their beautiful 4-mth-old daughter!

Katrina, left in back, teaches at O’Neill High School and arranged our visit. We met her at a Holocaust conference in New York City this past summer and it was an honor to meet with her students!
